Honda has now announced a new version of the personal mobility device called the Honda UNI-CUB β.
The new version of the UNI-CUB is smaller and lighter than the original. It uses the same sort of balance control technology and omni-directional driving wheel system to help users get around in close quarters. The technology inside the device allows the rider to move forward, backward, side-to-side, and diagonally by shifting their body weight on the device.
The Honda UNI-CUB β was designed in part from user feedback from people who tested the original UNI-CUB. The new mobility device is smaller and lighter than the original with a seating position that is lowered. Honda also used softer materials in the seat to make it more comfortable to use.
The Honda UNI-CUB β also has a stand function to make it easier to get on and off the device. That stand function also allows it to be used as a stool when not in motion. The Honda UNI-CUB β measures 510 x 315 x 620 mm (L x W x H). It weighs 25 kg and gets power from a lithium-ion battery. The max speed for the device is 6 km/h and it can go for 1.5 hours at a speed of 4 km/h.
